Midface Lift
As the face ages, there is downward movement of the cheek fat and gradual sagging of the cheek skin. Additionally, hollowing of the area under the eyes (the infraorbital region where the lower lid and cheek meet) becomes more apparent. Lastly, the fold between corner of the nose and the side of the mouth (nasolabial fold) becomes exaggerated as the cheek descends.
Midface Lift Procedure
Lifting the cheek upward restores a more youthful contour. Depending on individual need, this procedure may be performed under local anesthesia or may require general anesthesia. Dr. Price may recommend injectable fillers to augment this procedure and maximize results.
