Your Treatment
A topical numbing cream will be applied for pre treatment numbing. Voluma will be injected in small amounts over the treatment area until the desired outcome is achieved. An ice pack may be applied for a brief period to minimize swelling and reduce any discomfort. Within the first 24 hours after treatment you will need to minimize excessive exercise and extensive sun or heat. Doing so will reduce your chance of experiencing side effects such as temporary redness, swelling, and itching at the injection site. Your results can last any where from 18 to 24 months after your Voluma treatment.
